About quantitative methods
Quantitative methods take as their starting point the processing of numerical data, and the use of these methods is one of Userneeds' core competences. We are experts in collecting and analysing large amounts of data, often involving responses from thousands of people.
Figure based analysis
Userneeds' primary tool for gathering large amounts of figure based data is our Nordic Panel. Every month we conduct up to 100,000 interviews, which are made possible by contacting the members of the panels by e-mail.
Overview and direction
Quantitative methods are ideal for creating an overview and pinpointing strengths and weaknesses. Normally, they are not suitable for uncovering complex, emotional thoughts, but on the other hand, quantitative surveys bring results that can be compared across periods of time, target groups, product groups and companies.
When a quantitative survey is thought and professionally well-founded, it brings a result that can be applied as a management tool. This is possible because it provides knowledge about the problems and preferences the customer wants to uncover.

Member of ESOMAR
As a member of ESOMAR (the European Society of Opinion and Marketing Research), we have committed ourselves to carrying out our surveys in accordance with the society's guidelines. They include, among other things, standards for the number of respondents and how they are sub-divided with regards to gender, age and geographical location, and of course, formulation of the questions and the response categories offered.
